Electrical Installation Condition Report

Electrical installation condition reports or EICR for short, is the testing and inspecting of electrical systems. This is done through carrying out a series of electrical tests and visual inspection of electrical items like consumer units, wiring systems, electrical points and outlets in domestic and commercial properties to ensure they are operating safely and importantly comply with today’s regulations.

An electrical testing and inspection, electrical check or periodic inspection should be carried at set intervals as this will detect faulty or failing cables coming to the end of their life. Periodic inspection will prevent faulty or loose connections at sockets outlets, loose connections at fuse boards and consumer units causing overheating and checking that devices operate correctly under fault conditions.

We carry out a full check of the electrical installation and all its components with a certificate provided upon competition, giving you full knowledge your electrics are safe and in good health.

Some of the testing services we offer listed below:

  • Electrical installation condition report
  • Landlords electrical safety check

Any electrical test certificates are unique to the building we are testing is carried and contain all test results and notes about any danger or problem detected.

The electrical certificate provides full details of all circuits tested and the condition of the electrical installation and all electrical items tested and inspected when the electrical report was carried out.

Electrical fault finding

Having problems with lights flickering or circuit breakers tripping, socket outlets not working or faulty, light fittings or switches not operating power cuts or anything else we can help.

An electrical condition report will highlight all these faults upon completion as your whole installation gets inspected and verified safe by a qualified electrical tester.
